Indrani Mukerjea confesses to role in Sheena's murder, claim TV reports

Indrani Mukerjea, who is the main accused in the murder of her daughter Sheena Bora, has finally broken down after a sustained 10-day interrogation by the Mumbai Police and confessed to her role in the heinous crime, according to television reports who quoted police sources.

Newsreports suggest that after realising that the other people involved in the ghastly murder of Sheena Bora had confessed to the crime, she too broke down.

Indrani’s former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyamvar Rai have already confessed to their role in killing the 24-year-old girl.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that Indrani has not yet revealed the motive behind murdering her own daughter from her first ‘husband’, or live-in partner, Siddhartha Das.
All along the interrogation, the former high-profile media entrepreneur had insisted that her daughter Sheena was alive and was in the United States.
The police are also trying to track down the person who made the anonymous tip-off informing them about the mysterious murder.

Reports said that while confessing to her role in Sheena’s murder, Indrani refused to admit that she had any plans to kill her son Mikhail. She has now claimed that Mikhail is her adopted son.
