Living beings do not just live, they are called alive for a reason.
And the reason is to be having something the dead do not have, Emotions.
Emotions that fall under the category which is beyond science and after
the eternity of myths.
We are like a bag of blood, giving enormous invisible sprinkles which sometimes are warm, sometimes hot, and sometimes cold enough. Those sprinkles when touched by the other bags give out what we a beautiful response. Those are emotions.
And not just with humans, these emotions are shared between humans and animals, and maybe with the plants too but that is not in our grab of conscience.
Animals love us unconditionally. All they want from us is love. Whether it be a dog, a cat, a pet parrot or maybe a lion for the daring hearts. If you give out love, they reciprocate it with just more intensity.
The same happened with this boy whose cat died when he was a kid. As he was just a kid with no control over his sprinkles, he tended to burst out in fear, sorrow and shock. But, his father was there to keep him altogether.
He did not console him. Instead, he taught him a bitter lesson of truth about life in a way which made the bitterness tender.
And what the boy learned from his father did not vanish for his whole life as he knew in his heart that what he got from him was something more than just life. It was love.
Years later, he caught up with his father in a similar situation with a converse of the places where they used to be when he was a boy. What happened next will surely make you learn about karma in a positive way.
